A Summary Response
To The
Parliament Of The
World’s Religions
Salt Lake City
122
During the Parliament Of The World’s Religions
in Salt Lake City, families and friends gather together from across the many
religious, ethnic, national, cultural, and linguistic boundaries of
humanity. We discuss many of the
problems confronting our global community of Earth. To a lesser extent, we discuss some of the
suggested solutions to alleviate these problems. And to a lesser extent, we discuss some of
the specific action steps and strategies to which we commit to implement these
solutions.
To augment these latter considerations of
solutions and actions, and to provide increasingly formidable conviction and
direction for our global InterFaith Movement, the proceeding guidance is
provided. This guidance is an earnest
recommendation for our global community regarding what we can do to improve our
circumstances on Earth.
11.)
We return the land to Native people.
22.)
We encourage Black people to establish
independent sovereignties.
33.)
We transform local municipalities into
autonomous sovereignties.
44.)
We remove weapons from militaries.
55.)
We erase debt.
66.)
We raise civil service corps, locally and
internationally.
77.)
We teach pluralism, innovation, and
compassion.
88.)
We transition from cars to the metro.
99.)
We transition from single-family houses to
intergenerational apartment/flat towers.
110.) We stop eating animals.
111.) We walk.
112.) We pray, meditate, and sit quietly.
These are only a few, simple pointers to get us
going.
