dhyāna mēṁ baiṭha.
Lagātāra svayaṁ
kē sātha kē mādhyama sē dhyāna, sanyukta bhītara niyantrita indriyōṁ
aura mana kē sātha, ēka ākāṅkṣī
upalabdha hō jātā hai (nirvāṇa), sthāyī khuśī aura śānti mēṁ
(mujhē) kē rājya.Select a clean spot, neither too high nor too low, and seat
yourself firmly on a cloth, a deerskin, and kusha grass.
Then, once seated, strive to still
your thoughts. Make your mind one-pointed in meditation, and you heart will be
purified.
Hold your body, head, and neck
firmly in a straight line, and keep your eyes from wandering.
With all fears dissolved in the
peace of the Self and all desires dedicated to Brahman, controlling the mind
and fixing it on (Me), sit in meditation with (Me) as your only goal.
With senses and mind constantly
controlled through meditation, united with the Self within, an aspirant attains
(Nirvana), the state of abiding joy and peace in (Me).

We sincerely welcome everyone to
this interFaith service, and we welcome ourselves into a heightened awareness,
practise, and experience of Peace, Compassion, Healing, Truth, and Belonging
within this Universe in which we reside; we affectionately refer to this as
“Peach Trouble” (with the English acronym: “PeaCH TRuBel”).
Within this interFaith service, we
do invoke the Name of “God;” we make prayers directly to, and vocalise worship
of, God. We also invoke the Name of “God,” as it respectively exists within a
number of different religious traditions, including: Hebrew, Sanskrit, Latin,
Arabic, Lakotah, and additionally.
When we make this invocation of God,
we are uninterested in explicitly or tacitly subjugating anyone to anyone else.
In this respect, English translations of gender-specific terms that refer to
this “Higher Authority” are included as, “God,” and are written within
parentheses.
We each understand the “Highest
Authority” in different ways; and for some of us, it seems to helpful to
perceive this “Highest Authority” as: “Ultimate Reality,” “Ultimate Truth,”
“Infinity,” and/or “Ultimate, Universal Love.” We invite ourselves to remain
within our own respective realms of comfort, and to only make proclamations
that are True to our own respective selves.
We abstain from proselytising; we
are each welcome to the integrity of our own respective religious and personal beliefs,
practises, and communities; we respect our differences whilst emphasising our
commonalities; we would like for each of us to be able to genuinely say: “I
believe what I believe, and that is benevolent; and I am interested in knowing
how others believe (within the same benevolence that I share).”
Our main purpose of the interFaith
service is to build “Peach Trouble”: to learn additionally about each other,
each other’s traditions, communities, and beliefs; and to perform atunement,
and even engage within an experience of shared esotericism, spirituality, and
the Divine. We each abstain from proclaiming ordainment, or officially
recognised scholarship, within each and every one of the religious traditions
included within our interFaith service. However, we do have a modest
understanding of each of these religious traditions. Our interFaith service
includes a rich assortment of songs, chants, prayers, and teachings, that are
generously provided to us from dear family members and friends, distant and
near. Substantial effort is made to include authentic elements, many within
original language, whilst maintain our cohesive, Universal message of Peace,
Compassion, Healing, Truth, and Belonging.
We welcome your suggestions and
question during the oneg, and further, upon the conclusion of the service. We
also encourage each of us to learn further about our own respective religious
beliefs, practises, and communities; and to share this increased knowledge,
understanding, and wisdom with all of us, so that we may better alleviate the
aggregate experience of Dukka (suffering) and perform Tikkun Olam (healing of
the Universe), and improve the wellbeing of all life throughout the Universe. May love and Peace be with all beings.
