This past week, we begin to read, within the Torah, from the 4th
book of Moshe: “B’midbar,” also known as
numbers. “B’midbar” is also the name of
the past week’s Parashah; and whilst
this Parashah describes the census of the Israeli men, the term, “B’midbar,”
abstains from translating to, “Numbers.”
That is actually our Hebrew word for the past week: “במדבר” (“b’midbar”), which
actually means, “wilderness.”
The featured Torah Trivia question for this past week is: Can you describe which tribe has the largest
number of males over age 20?
Efforts are also being made to provide the Torah Trivia for this
week’s Parashah, “Naso,” within the next few days, before Shabbat. Your patience, understanding, and
consideration are appreciated.
