A Kernel of Corn (2011CE.4.17)

Love and Peace, Family and Friends.

Shalom. Namaste. Salaam.

A kernel of corn is only a kernel of corn when that kernel of corn is given to another person and that person eats it for that person’s own benefit.

However, a kernel of corn is a perpetual bounty of corn when that kernel of corn is given to a person and that person plants it in the ground, tends to it, and cultivates the crop, repeats the process, and teaches it to others.

We are insufficiently sustained by simply eating the kernel of corn; and we are insufficiently maintained by simply multiplying the kernel of corn. It is appropriate for us to maintain a proficient balance of the two, amidst our respective selves and the entirety of the Universe.

Love and Peace,

Peter
